I put clay squares into the back so the silicone would have keys that located into the core in case I ever need to take the skin off for punching the hair etc...

Coring out
I decided to just core out the head and torso section of this mould due to the time restrictions of the workshop and to help stay on schedule before the Easter break. The silicone in the legs/feet section and the arms will be brushed in and then filled with rigid expanding foam (R8/Mould Foam 8). These photos show the even layer of clay I placed into each section of the mould - less than 10mm - and me fibreglassing it in sections to ensure full coverage and less clean-up time.
